Wisp

The WISP series is the debut of KOSSU’s "carving" fabric, which combines the characteristics of kossu’s "warp-passing and weft-breaking" technique with the shuttlecraft process to strengthen the variation of small area fabrics and produce a relief effect. Drawing inspiration from musical rhythms, this series effectively incorporates musical elements into the weaving process. Since 2015, the WISP series has used the melody of "Jasmine Flower" to form the length and short variations of the small area, which has continued to evolve. In 2022, KOSSU once again utilized the melody of Ode to Joy to create the "Kesi to Joy" with varying lengths on the surface of the fabric. The WISP has found extensive application in furniture fabric collections and has established the structural groundwork for forthcoming clothing fabric designs.
